PACT WITH ITALY.
France Awaits Settlement in Saar. 1 SIGNATURES WILL FOLLOW. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON 7 , December 27. The moment the plebiscite has been concluded to determine the future of the Saar attention will be directed to the signing of the Franco-Italian pact, but the French Foreign Minister, M. Laval will not pay liis long-delayed visit to the Prime Minister of Italy, Signor Mussolini, until lie is satisfied that agreement is assured. In the meantime it is hoped that Prince Paul's new regime in Yugoslavia will create a more favourable atmosphere.
