CHARLIE CHAN ONCE MORE.
The talented actor Warner. 01 and seen once more as. the popular Oriental detective in the thrilling drama "Charl:c Chan in London," which heads the programme to be screened for the first tiny; at the Civic Theatre to-morrow. His films are in marked contrast to others of the same type, for they are treated " l a light and rather satirical manner. The story is said to be the most thrilling °j the series, with baffling mystery and exciting suspense which works up to a startling climax. There are also some fine comedy touches. Gland has appeared in several similar parts in such pictures as "The Chinese Parrot" and "Charlie Chan's Courage, and his subtle philosophical quips are familiar to all audiences. The latest adventure of Chan is said to be even more .thrilling than any previous one.
