In exercise of the powers conferred upon is by Section 156 of The Municipal Corporations Act. 1933, the Takapuna Borough Council resolved by way of Special order: "That the Council exchange that piece of law! in the Borough i>f Takapuna, containing by admeasurement fourteen decimal three perches, more'or less, being part of the bed of the Auckland Harbour, delineated on pian deposited in the Land Registry Olhee at Auckland, under Number 24750, and being Lot 2, on plan deposited as aforesaid, on Number 25049, for that piece of Land, the property of Friederich Oitstav Steinert, situate in the borough aforesaid, containing by admeasurement two decimal four perches, more or loss, being Lot 1, on plan deposited as aforesaid, under Number 25049, of Lot 20, of Allotments 20 and others, of Section 1. of the Parish of Takapuna, and that the laud so to lie acquired in exchange by the Council be held for the same purposes as the piece of land firstly herein mentioned is now held by the Council."
