DE HAVILLAND 'PLANES.
REPORT BY COMMITTEE.
CANBERRA, November 21,
The Minister of Defence, Mr.' R. A. Parkhill, stated to-day that unless tlfere is adverse comment against de Havilland 80 aeroplanes by the committee which is investigating the Longreach air disaster, the oversea air mail service will begin from Brisbane to England on the original contract date, December 10. Also, in that case, there will be no need to use any other type of aeroplane.
