LYNNDALE CLUB

The Tjynndale Amateur Athletic concluded its first points meeting of the •eason at the club ground at New Lynn Inst night. The track was in good Condition and weather conditions ideal. I here was a big gathering of athletes and competition i'was very keen, some tine finishes iieing witnessed. Detailed results : — 220 Yards Low Hurdles.—First licat: E. West, 12yds. 1 : G. Discus Throw.—H. West (30ft), 03ft Gin, 1: .T. I!ration ft). 93ft 4in, 2; N. Armlstead (loft)., Soft 3in, 3. 440 Yards Handicap.—W. Briggs, 17yds, 1 ; E. West, 17yds, 2 ; N. Armlstead, 10yds, 3. Time, 52 3-ss. A great finish,. Won by a foot. This is the fastest timq registered for the quarter-mile for some considerable time on the New Lynn track. One Mile Handicap.—C. May, 140 yds, 1 ; A. B.
