LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
KOHIMARAMA. The Kohimaraina branch held its final meeting for the year on Monday. Mrs. Littlejohn presided. A programme of songs, elocutionary items and a piano sojo was provided by Mrs. Reflell, Mrs. Howison and Mrs. Clinton Williams. A competition was won by Mr 6. Woolley. Mrs. E. Eady and Mrs. Neave were the accompanists. The hostesses were Meisdames Friar, Lcdianl, E. Eady, MacMaster and McLaren. GREY LYNN. The Grey Lynn branch of the League of Mothers held its last meeting on Wednesday afternoon in the Farmers' banqueting hall, Hobson Street, Mrs. Hynes presiding- oyer a large gathering of members and guests. Mesdames Eng-
lisli and Whyte, provincial president and secretary, were present. The artists and speakers for the year were entertained with a delightful programme, followed by afternoon tea. Bouquets were presented to Mesdames English, Whyte, Jury and McDonald. Songs were rendered by Mesdames Keven, McDonald, Harvey and Asher. Readings were given by Mrs. Whyte, and musical monologues by Miss York.
