NEW TRIAL ORDERED.
KING COUNTRY PROSECUTION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Wednesday. After a retirement of ovev four hours the jury failed to agree, and a new trial was fixed for Tuesday next in respect of t e case in which Elsie Clara Howie, n married woman, was charged in the Supreme Court before Mr. Justice Herdman with illegally keeping liquor for sale at Taumarunui, a proclaimed' area, on October 0. Mr. 11. T. Gillies represented the Crown, and Mr. N. S. Johnson appeared for accused, who pleaded not guilty.
