Mr. R. G. Clark leaves for Sydney uy the Marama to-day. The Rev. and Sirs. W. P. Rankin have returned from a visit to Dunedin. Dr. W. G. Fern leaves for Sydney by the Marama to-day after a lecturing tour of the Dominion. Mr. J. S. Hunter, Commissioner of Transport, is visiting Auckland. He will leave for the south to-morrow. Mr. W. J. Mason was elected president of the Wellington Competitions Society at the annual meeting. Squadron-Leader L. M. Tsitt. ofli—rcommanding the Hobsonville Air I!a left for Wellington by the Limited hi-t night. The Hon. P. Collier, Premier of West Australia, who is touring New Zealand on a health trip, is at Hotel Cargen. Engineer Rear-Admiral G. W. Bodell motored from Wellington to Auckland to join the lonic, which leaves on Saturday for southern ports. Mr. C. J. Eskell, manager in New Zealand for Universal Films, Ltd., arrived from Wellington this morning and is at the Grand Hotel. Sir Andrew Russell arrived at Wellington by the Wanganella yesterday after attending the British ex-serviceman's conference in Melbourne. Mr. R. H. Nesbitt, Australian Trade Commissioner, and Mr. J. Payne, Assistant Commissioner, are expected lo arrive from Wellington to-morrow. Captain W. Cheyne-Macpherson, who has been touring New Zealand with c.n appeal for funds to save Cluny Castle, leaves for Sydney by the Marama to-day. Mr. R. Boulter, C.M.G., His Majesty's Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, arrived from Wellington by the express this morning and is at the Grand Hotel. Dr. T. Oliver, former principal of the Scottish Woollen Technical College, Galashiels, who has been touring the Dominion for the past two months studying wool problems, sails for Australia, accompanied by Mr 3. Oliver, by the Marama to-day, and will spend about five months in the Commonwealth before returning to Grca 'x Britain.
