POWER SUPPLY.
BAY OF PLENTY BOARD. , {By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) OPOTIKT, Tuesday.:] At a meeting of tho Bay of Plenty Power Board yesterday, the , engineermanager, Mr. J. D. Dicker, produced figures showing that the board's business was steadily expanding, the revenue last quarter having amounted to £9507. It was stated that an important new development to be undertaken immediately would be tho retriculation of the Ohope Beach area, near Whakatane, one of the most popular beach resorts in the Bay of Plenty. The Matata Flax Company had also agreed to take supply from the board.
A superannuation scheme for the staff was discussed and final decision was deferred for six months.
