TOSSED BY BULL.
« ELDERLY MAN INJURED. Tossed by a bull at the home of his sister, Mrs. A. E. Taylor, in Owairaka Avenue. Mount Albert, about 5.30 p.m. on Saturday, Mr. Robert Meynell, aged 42, married, received internal injuries and was taken to the Auckland Hospital by St. John Ambulance. His condition is not considered to be serious. Mr. Meynell had come to Auckland from his home at Paremoremo, to attend the wedding of his son on Saturday night. He went to see the bull to compare it with one of its progeny on his own farm, and while lie was examining it, the beast tossed him. One of its horns penetrated his left side. Although Mr. Meynell was rendered unconscious, the bull did not apain attack him, and it was led away without difficulty.
