JT.Z.'S FAVOURABUE BALANCE. Xew Zealand's exports to Germany for the twelve months ended June 30 ? last were valued at £941,500, as compared with £369,129 for the previous production year. On the import side Xew Zealand bought from Germany in the twelve months ended June 30, 1934, goods to the value of £377,737, which was about £8000 more than in the previous year. The Argentine wool clip for the 193283 season was the heaviest for many years, and a total of 405,431 bales was exported. Of that, 246,711 bales went to the Continent, 99,956 to the United Kingdom, and 48,775 to the United States. Of the Continental countries, France was in the lead with 85,689 bales, and Germany second with 54,651 bales. Germany's share in 1931-32 was 45,082 bales, in 1930-31 75,888, and in 1929-30 72,879.
