Mr. L. W. Swan goes South, by the Limited to-night. Mr. E. C. Turner left for the South by the Limited last night. Mr. V. J. Lamer returned from Wellington yesterday morning. Mr. W. Goodfellow left for Wellington by the Limited last night. Mr. M. J. Savage, Leader of the Opposition, arrived from Wellington yesterday. Mr. L. Alderton, a member of the Transport Co-ordination Board, returned from Wellington yesterday. Mr. D. G. Kennedy, administrative oflicer in the Ellice Islands, arrived by the Parracbmbe. on Saturday night. Mr. G. T. Wilson, district traffic manager of tho Railway Department at Auckland, left for Wellington on Saturday. Captain E. C. Hammond, manager of tho Northern Steamship Company, leaves for Wellington by the Limited to-night. Squadron-Leader T. M. Wilkes, Director of Air Services, left for Wellington by the express on Saturday afternoon. Mr. J. W. Clarke, of the Auckland office of the New Zealand Government Tourist Department, left Wellington for Sydney by the Marama on Friday. Mr. T. J. Buxton, president of the Auckland Trotting Club, and Mr. A. G. Mabee, secretary of the club, returned by tho Limited this morning after attending a meeting of the Trotting Control Board at Christchurch.
