THAMES ASSOCIATION.
The Thames Cricket Association opened its season at Rhodes Park on Soturdav in fine weather, with the wickets and outfield in good order. High School obtained a three-point win from Karaka. and High School Old Boys secured a two-pint win from Tararu. In the former match High School batted first, and declared on the fall of the ninth wicket for 345 (Twohill 58. Hosking 36. Shaw 10). Karaka were dismissed for 73. In the Tararu High School Old Boys' match the former batted first and were dismissed for 52 (Morgan 18. Thornton 13). Buchan took seven wickets for 13 runs. Old Boys replied with 00 (Hoyle 45 not out, Clemson 11). Cleave took sixwickets for 24.
