MIDDLEMORE SEASON ENDS,
A record entry participated in Canadian bogey mixed foursomes at Middlemore on Saturday, when the Auckland and Titl, rangi Clubs officially closed the season.
Miss -Fouliy and S. S. Wilson led the field with the excellent card of S up. the next best cards being Mrs. Ralph and W S Ralph, 4 up : Miss Porter and H. L Reps' 'i up ; Miss P. France and H. V. Coverdale' 3 up: Miss Savage and X. I.ouisson Mri* Wright and R. D. Wright, and Miss Kirker and A. 11. Kirker, 2 up.
Players and their friends were the guests of the president, Mr. A. I. Johns, and-Mrs Johns at afternoon tea, and prizes won during the season were presented by Mrs Johns. The president congratulated the prize-winners and complimented the offi cials and staff on the condition of the course which, he considered, had never been in better order.
Results of the chief events of the season were as follow.: Club championship, B G. Thomson; runner-up, W. N. Abbottintermediate championship, R. D. Horton' runner-up, S. S.
