WELSH SOCIETY.
The children of the Welsh Society entertained the members on Saturday night at the Overseas League rooms, which were gaily decorated with streamers and balloons. Master Richard G. Williams was in the chair. Elocution, vocal, instrumental and dance items were given by the following: — Misses Megan Haines, Betty Boler, Patty Morgan, C'einwen Jones, Miriam Jeffers, Ruth White, Beryl Lendrum, Peggy and Bertha Williams, B. O'Malley, Ceta Jaycock, Pat Norman, A. Ballantyne, Miss Keg. Morgan, Miss Joan Kvans, Masters Jackie Hobbs, Jack and Bob Cox. A pleasant surprise was the arrival of Santa Claus with his bag of presents, which were distributed among the children; A supper concluded a I very pleasant evening.
