WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton:— Light to moderate and variable winds with north-easterlies predominating at first, but later south-westerlies; weather for the most part fair to fine, but scattered passing showers likely at times; temperatures moderate; seas smooth to moderate. A shallow depression is passing very slowly across the Dominion, but pressure generally is rather uniform over surrounding regions, with little storm activity.
