AVIATION RECORD.
FLIGHT ACROSS AMERICA. NEW YORK, November 9. Captain E. Rickenbacker, in a big twin-motored transport aeroplane, landed at the Newark airport, New Jersey, from Los Angeles yesterday, after establishing a new transcontinental flight record of 12h 4m for the type of machine. The former record of 13h 2m was held by Captain Rickenbacker.
