SHIPPING NEWS.

CORNWALL PUT BACK. FABRACOMBE DUE MIDNIGHT. Owing to engine trouble, the steamer Cornwall put back from Tiritiri Island this morning. The Earanga and Trojan Star have arrived to load, and the Parraconibc is now due at midnight. On Monday morning the Niagara is expected. Cornwall left at 0.55 a.m. for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge of west coast ports of Great Britain cargo. She returned to port at 11 a.m., and has been inspected by a diver at the King's wharf for tailshaft trouble. (N.Z.S.)

Niagara is due on Monday morning from Sydney with passengers, mails and cargo. She is to berth at the Prince's wharf; and sails at 11 a.m. on Tuesday for Vancouver, via Suva and Honolulu. (U.S.S.)

Trojan Star arrived shortly before noon to complete loading for London and west coaet ports of Great Britain. She is at the Queen's wharf, and is expected to be in port until Thursday afternoon. (Blue Star.) Raranga arrived this morning from Napier to continue loading for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. She is at the Central wharf, and leaves on Wednesday for Wellington and Lyttelton to complete, sailing finally from the latter port on November 22. (L.D.N.) City of Delhi arrived last evening from New York with general cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. She is at the Prince's wharf, and sails on Tuesday afternoon. (N.Z.S.) Parracombe reports that she now expects to arrive at midnight to-night from Ocean Island. She is to berth at the King's wharf to-morrow morning, and will discharge her full cargo of phosphates here. Brisbane Maru left last night for Japan, via Sydney and Brisbane. (F.C.A.) Lachlan was to sail at 3 p.m. to-day for San Francisco, having completed discharge of bulk petrol for the Vacuum Oil Company at the Western wharf.
