To NANA'S FRIENDS
Dear Little Ones, — Here we are again with another exciting chapter of the "Magic World" to read and the second part of the boat all ready to .paste on to cardboard and fold into shape v Isn't the goo-goo bird a strange little creature? You would not think it to look at her, but she has a passion for biscuits. Whenever Brer Rabbir haves the lid off the biscuit tin, along comes the gco-goo bird, snatches up a crisp, brown biscuit and scampers off juit as hard as she can run. . You may be sure that the boys do not like her very much when she steals, and you should hear her strange gurgly squav,'ks of alarm wTien Pete and Billikins and all the others give chase. Billikins, Toytown's policeman, declares that the bird ought to be arrested, but the others simply won't hear of such a thing, because they really like feeding her with little scraps they do not want themselves. I agree that it would be a shame to lock up the poor old goo-goo bird, don't you, little ones? NANA.
