OMA NIUKOJV.A CONCERT. The concert winch was to have been given at the Town Hall this evening in order to introduce the youthful boy violinist, Oma Niukoma to Auckland music-lovers, will be presented next Wednesday. The reason for the postponement is that Guide Rangi and her Rotorua choir desire a further practising of their special number composed in honour of the forthcoming visit of the Duke of Gloucester. This will be presented at Wednesday's concert. Guide Rangi'and her Maori singers and poi dancers will provide the incidental entertainment m the concert lo Vie given by Oma Niukoma. MUNICIPAL BAND. A large and appreciative audience greeted the Auckland Municipal Band at Albert Park last night, when the nrst of this season's Sunday evening open-air recitals was given. Numerous renderings were frequently encored. A fine programme was also given at the Zoological Park yesterday afternoon. The band will give a popular programme in Myers Park next Wednesday evening. .
