BUCKLAND'S BEACH.
RENOVATION OF GREEN. t> A complete and thorough renovation of Hie picturesquely-situated green of the Buck-land's Beach Bowling (Tub throughout the winter has been attended by most gratifying results and the sward is considered at present to be in better playing order than for many years past. A gang of men, under the indefatigable supervision of Mr. Tom Baster, green superintendent, lias worked steadily throughout the close season and a beautiful growth of fresh new grass has been cultivated. Visitors last weekend were highly complimentary regarding the "playing" of the turf and everything seems to point to a very successful opening of this popular holiday resort green on Saturday next.
