ROTARY CLUB.
« TO-DAY'S MEETING. President L. Taylor occupied the chair at to-day's lunch meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club, held in Milne and Choyce's reception hall. There was a large attendance, including over a score of visitors. Amongst them were: Sir lan Fraser (London), Messrs. IT. J. R. Todd, W. G. Pees Jones and R. Telford (Wellington). W. E. Hancock (Suva), E. E. Yaile and R. P. Sped'ding (Rotonia), V.. R. Mcllsop (To Awanmtu), S. J. Bethel] (Whangarei), (i. Gilbert (Ranfurly), A. J. McEldowncy and W. E. V. Pernio (Christchurch), and W. Stewart (Hawcra). The president congratulated Rotarian IT. Welsh on his appointment to the position of manager of Claude Neon Lights (South Africa).
"The Gallants of England" was sung by Kotarian W. Manning.
'The speaker of tho day was General Sir Alexander Godley, who delivered an address based on his past experiences. The vote of thanks was moved by Rotarian J. Gentles.
