ALTERED SAILING.
MONTEREY'S TRIP NORTHWARDS. The Oceanic Steamship Company announces an alteration in the sailing ot the Monterev from Melbourne and Sydney. The vessel will leave Melbourne on' December 12, instead of December 8, and passengers making the round trip from Auckland will be' able to spend 54 days in Melbourne and 3* days in Sydney. The vessel will lea\e Auckland, northbound, on December IS. thus accommodating passengers for the school vacation' travelling to Fiji. Samoa and Honolulu. The arrival date in Los Angeles will be the morning of > e,v Year's Day.
