On the course proper at Flemington to-day, Peter Pan, looking greatly improved, ran a mile in 1.46%, the last six furlongs in 1.20V6. Chatham, assisted by Vista, covered seven furlongs in 1.33. Broad Arrow went a mile in 1.49. Theo and Verberry were not extended to run twelve furlongs in 2.56. Dermid and Phenomenon did the best half mile in ,50%5.. On the inside grass Gay Lover and Premiership sprinted three furlongs in 3794'5.' Rinia, assisted by Orabee, went nine fuirloijgs in 2.2%.

Sordino beat Grasfuss over ten furlongs in 2.14. Conditions were ideal for galloping at Caiilfield. On the steeplechase grass Nightly ran the best six furlongs in 1.15%. Epigram, who has fully recovered from his injury, beat Oriel over six furlongs ill 1.17%. Aztec, Curator and Princess Deidrie covered a mile in 1.4514. Vauntry was responsible for the best five furlongs in 1.1%. Myra Tip and Closing Time ran half a mile in 52%5. Flail went better than Our Comet over ten furlongs in 2.14. Waikare. Gladswood and Shatter, after striding, dashed over half a mile in olVss. Journey's End, Sable and Kollovant ran five furlongg in 1.416.
