POLYDORA CASE.
RACING CLUB'S DECISION. -""ACTION BY CONFERENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A direction that the decision of the Wellington Racing Club's judicial _ committee in the Polydora case be reviewed as a case on appeal to the Wellington District Committee, has been given by the executive committee of the New Zealand Racing Conference under the powers conferred by rule 57 of the Rules of Racing. The appeal will be heard in Wellington on Tuesday next. After the Wellington Handicap _ at Trentham last Saturday the judicial committee inquired into the running ot Polydora, and after hearing the evidence of the trainer, H. Nurse, and the jockey, M Kirwan, suspended Kir wan for two months. Rule 57 of the Rules of Racing states that where the stipendiary steward is of opinion that a decision of a judicial •body is unsatisfactory he shall notify the executive committee, and they may direct that the matter be referred back, and such reference shall be deemed to be, and be dealt with as, a case on appeal.
