• . COLTS TEAM FOR SATURDAY. In view of trie possibility that the Auckland Rugby League will send a represent tative team early next seuson to Sydney, ,the selectors have taken tiie opportunity of trying out young players in the special fixture at Cariaw Park on Saturday, when the principal charity day fixture will be between Auckland Colts and the Taniaki thirteen, holders of the Waltangl Shield. The colts team chosen is as follows:— Full-back.—Jones (Ponsonby). Three-quarters.—McNeil (Richmond), Fletcher (Richmond), Loader (Marists). Five-eighths. — Stoekley (Ponsonby, Glover (Marists). Half-back.—(lrotte (Marists). Forwards.—Herring (City), Ragg (City), hooker, Middleton (Newton), Donald (DevonportK Herring (Mount Albert), Tetley (Richmond). Reserves.—Backs: Brady (Newton), Wiberg (City), Johnson (City). Forwards: Broadhead (Richmond), Bakalich (Marists), Davis (Ponsonby). The players are to train at Cariaw Park this and Thursday evenings.
