Stafford Sluicing (West Coast). —ISoz r.tlwt for 21 shifts. Heavy boulders have delayed progress. Glenroy (Murchison). —250z from second preliminary wash-up. Golconda Mines. —During the week we had to retimber the main drive in the east cross*ur and have now got it in fairly good order. This work was done while we were pumping mt the flow of water cut in the 70ft level. IVe have got the water Deatc-n 1n the 70ft level, but had to timber here also, as the water rose so quickly that it loosened a lot if country that would have held up for a onig time otherwise. We nave got the cross- ! ;ut in the reef into the footwall timbered ip to where the water broke through and will have two shifts working there on Monlay afternoon.
