IS IT A GIANT SQUID?

THE MONSTER OF LOCH NESS

LONDON, September 28,

Mr. J. E. Williamson, originator of submarine motion pictures, whom filmgoers saw recently in "With Williamson Beneath the Sea," has arrived from Florida to investigate the Loch Ness monster in its lair. He proposes to go down into the loch through a flexible metallic tube 2ft in diameter. The tube will be connected with a spherical photosphere adapted to marine observation and photography.

Mr. Williamson believes that the monster is a giant squid, which, he says, is one of the largest of sea animals. Its tentacles, which show like fins when it is swimming, resemble a head, and that fact is the basis of many sea-seruent stories.
