FAMOUS BAND ARRIVES.
THE GRENADIER GUARDSMEN,
PERTH, October 2,
The citizens of Fremantle received a thrill to-day with the arrival of the Grenadier Guards Band by the liner Otranto from London. They were given a rousing welcome by the bandsmen from the visiting Australian cruisers Canberra and Australia, and by 300 local bandsmen. The Grenadiers later held a march and played stirring music.
