TANKER DUE TO-DAY.

MONTEREY ON FRIDAY.

Tho tanker South Africa and the liner Monterey are the only overseas ships due before tho week-end. Next week ten ships loading or discharging overseas cargo are scheduled for Auckland. On Friday morning the Fordedale is to s;iil for London.

South Africa is expected at 8 p.m. today from Los Angeles with a bulk cargo of petrol for the Texas Oil Company. She is to commence discharge at the Western wharf, sailing later for Wellington/ Lyltelton, Dunedin and Australia.

Monterey is expected on Friday morning from Los Angeles, via Honolulu, Pago Pago and Suva. She is to sail at .-> p.m. the same day for .Sydney and Melbourne -with passengers, mails and cargo. (IT. and M.)

Marama, discharging Sydney cargo and transhipments at the Prince's wharf, is to sail at 3 p.m. to-day for Wellington, where she will remain until October 11. (U.S.S.)

Fordsdale is completing loading at tho Central wharf, and is to leave at daybreak on Friday for London. (L.D.N.)

Rotorua is expected on Monday from Wellington to complete loading for London. She is to sail with passengers, mails and cargo on October 12. (N.Z.S.)

Koyo Maru is expected from Southern ports (in .Monday to complete loading scrap iron for japan. She has completed discharging her Japanese sulphur cargo. Los Angeies UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS. Kartigi sails at 8 p.m. to-day for Portland, Napier and Wellington. She is discharging at Prince's wharf. Waipiata leaves Timaru at 6 p.m. to-day for Auckland, via Lyttelton (Picton) and Wellington. Kiwitea leaves Wellington to-night for Auckland. Kanna left Wesfport yesterday for New Plymouth and Auckland. Poolta loads at Weslport to-morrow for Auckland. Vingatul Is to move to Prince's -wharf to-day to load for Wellington and South Island ports, Bailing on Friday afternoon.

The motor ship Port Waikato is completing her overhaul at Central wharf and is to load for Wellington and South Island ports, sailing on Friday at 5 p.m. The cablo steamer Recorder is now to sail to-morrow morning to Bass Strait to undertake repair work. SLOOP UNCOCKS. The Imperial sloop Laburnum uudocked this morning after a relit, and she is to sail on November 5 for Taurangii, Piclon, Wanganul, Nelson, New Plymouth, Wellington and Gisborno, returning to Auckland ou January 13. PICTON FERRY SERVICE. The Union Company advises that on October 22 (Labour Day) the Tnmalllne will not leave Wellington for Pit-ton until midnight On November 1 (Marlborough Anniversary), the vessel will leave Picton at 7 a.m. 'on 1111 excursion 'to Wellington, and will leave Wellington for Picton at 4.30 p.m. the same flay. THE KANGITIKI. The New Zealand Shipping Company'e liner Hnngitiki, which is expected from London on October 24, will discharge, at Auckland and Wellington. She will then load at Wellington, Auckland, Tokomaru Bay, and Napier, sailing finally from the latter port on November 10 for London. TAMAROA'S ITINERARY. The Shaw, Savlll and Albion linor Tamaroa, which is due from London and Southampton on October 11, with cargo for Auckland and Wellington, will load at ] Lyttelton. The Shaw, Savlll and Albion motor ship Waiwera, on her maiden visit, is to arrive at Port .Chalmers about October 22 with cargo for Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and New Plymouth. She loads thereafter at Bluff. Gisborne, Napier, "Wellington and Auckland, being due here on November 23. She is scheduled to sail for London on November 28. A. S.
