BEEP QUOTATIONS ADVANCE. VEGETABLES PLENTIFUL AND CHEAP. Following the higher prices ruling for fat cattle at the sales, the master butchers advanced the retail prices of most cuts of beef one halfpenny 'to one penny per pound on Thursday.
