OBITUARY.
MR. JOHN MUNRO
A resident of New Zealand for 68 years, Mr..John Munro died at Hamilton on September 24, aged 80. Born in Caithness, Scotland, he came to NewZealand with his father, the late Mr. Colin Munro, and the family settled at Te Rore. Mr. John Munro was bridge building and contracting as a young man, and later took over his fathers farm. He was a well-known breeder of Milking Shorthorn cattle and draught horses. Ho never married, and is survived t>y lii<s sister, Miss Elizabeth Munro, who is 83.
