A live-roomed house at Lairdyale, Tauniariinui, occupicd by Mr. C. L. J. Edwards, was destroyed by fire. The furniture and piano were insured for £300 with the New Zealand Insurance Company, Limited. The building was owned by Mr. R. Roberts.
