DIED SUDDENLY.
CITY COUNCIL EMPLOYEE. COLLAPSE I\ T MOTOR CAR. While sitting in a motor car outside the Tow if Hall in Grey Avenue on Saturday morning Mr. Arthur Peglar, aged 63, a widower, foreman of waterworks at Titirangi for the Auckland City Council, collapsed and died a few minutes later. Mr. Peglar had been employed by the council since 1902. He was making his usual fortnightly visit to the Town Hall, and was sitting in the motor car of Mr. George Carr, superintendent of waterworks. He was carried into the traffic department's offices, but when Dr. C. C. Murphy arrived he was dead. An inquest was opened before Mr. W. R. MeKean, S.M., to-day, but was adjourned sine die.
