BUSINESS IS BRISK. GOVERNMENT STOCKS SELLING. SOME LINES GO HIGHER. Pronounced, activity is still the prevailing note on the Auckland Stock Exchange. Owners of Government stocks, tempted by higher bids, have offered more freely, and fair business was done in this class, both yesterday afternoon and this morning.
