DUNEDIN CLUB.
A gala night was given by the Dunedin Club in the new Fabian rooms, Queen Street, last evening, a large number of members and friends attending. The rooms were nicely decorated with spring flowers, and excellent dance music, with a special Scotch medley, was 'rendered by Rae Collins and the Nomad 3. Mr. R. A. Cornish and Mrs. Cornish received the guests, the latter wearing a turquoise blue ring velvet, relieved with fuchsia, and white fur coat. The ladies' committee were: Mj"3. J. Oliver, in black chiffon velvet; Mrs. N. Hamilton, black panne velvet; Mrs. E. A. Allan, blue and black checked taffeta; Mrs. H. H. Wilson, black georgette; Mrs. D. R. Macdonald, white ring velvet; Mrs. J. A. Gow, ruby panne velvet. Among those who attended were: — Mesdames H. F. Wright,-1 , . Long, S. J. Davies, W. Dodd, E. Wickham, Lindsay Anderson, Oram, K. C.
