THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sunday. Further reference to his impending departure from New Zealand and to In* regret at leaving was made by tlie Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, at the annual dinner of the New Zealand Company of Master Mariners last evening. "I am beginning to regard with envy one person in the British Empire my successor," said his Excellency. I honestly cannot imagine any mcie pleasurable task for any man in publiclife to desire than that of being Governor-General of this loyal Dominion."
