PRESBYTERIAN B.C. CLUB. The Auckland Presbyterian Bible Class Harrier Club held its second last run ot the season on Saturday from the residence of the vice-president, Mr. A. K. Odlin. Associated with the club were three members of the Auckland representative team which will compete at Dunedin next week. Also two members of the Hastings Harrier Club were present, and showed to advantage. The holiday spirit was evident amongst the slow and intermediate pack runners, and nobody undertook strenuous travelling. Some of the fast pack men, with the Hastings runners, sailed to the fore, and were never sighted. Nicholson, Valdcr and Birtwhlstle, of the provincial team, with Neil, of the club, ran separately and maintained a solid pace all the way. WESLEY CLUB. The season of the above club was con- [ eluded with a. field day, held at the Mount Koskill Shool, with an attendance of 28 members. The 440 yds handicap race for fast, Intermediate and slow packs, to count for points in the "run In" competition, resulted as follow :— Fast Pack. —M. Hcwitson 1, A. Graham 2, S. Cole 3. Silvester 1, A. Rowe 2, D. Payne 3. High Jump (open).—A. Graham and J. Spooner (equal), 4.10. 880 Yards Club Championship.—M. Hcwitson 1, S. Cole 2, ,T. Spooner 3. 440 Yards Handicap (under 10). —S. Mulliolland 1, J. Allen 2, It. Stephen 3. Putting Hie Shot (open).—D. Payne 1, Scriven 2, T. Spooner 3. Cluirch Teams' Relay Race.—Pitt Street 1, Epsom 2, Mount Eden 3. The inter-church competition resulted as follow : —Epsom 42, Pitt Street 24, Mount Eden 20, Remuera 6, Dominion Road 3. Winners of the "run-in" competition for the various packs resulted as follow:— Fast pack (M. Hcwitson), intermediate pack (X. Spooner), slow pack (L. Wattam). LYNNDALE CLUB. The Lynndale Harrier Club held its final run of the season on Saturday in ideal conditions. Members outstanding over the final stretch were: —riariis, Henshall, Heron, and Dolan. A 150 yards sprint resulted:—R. Henshall 1, W. Briggs 2, W. McCombie 3. Won by a foot, inches between second and third. The points cup, to be won by the harrier gaining most points over the season, has reached an interesting stage, the leaders being:—W. Briggs, BS ; J. Dolan, 83; W. McCombie, 814; R. Harris and G. Heron, 04. The final sprint will be hold next Saturday at a field day lie:a to conclude the season. A football practice will also be held, both events taking place at the club's track at New Lynn. PULLAR OTAGO CHAMPION. (Ey Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The Otago cross-country championships were held at Wingatul on Saturday. The senior event, over a 10,000 metres course, resulted : W. A. Pullar 1, T. Allen 2, W. H. Walker 3, T. G. Pearson 4, A. R. Geddes 5, W. A. Stewart 0, E. C. Brown 7, L, Curtis 8, L.. Logan 9, J. J. Morris 10. Time, 3G.43. The teams race was won by Anglican with Civil Service second and Caversham third. Otago team for New Zealand crosscountry championships: W. A. Pullar, T. Allen, W. H. Walker, T. G. Pearson, A. R. Geddes, J. G. Barnes, lisserves: W. A., Stewart, E. C. Brown.
