JUVENILE CHANGES HANDS.

OFF TO SYDNEY.

MIDIAN GOING WELL SHU AND SUNEE. THE TWO-YEAR-OLD PARADE. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WANGANUI, Saturday. A. Cook arrived last night with King's Knave and Lady Ruler, both of whom ijlook all tho better for their racing at Marton. Other arrivals included Ruauui, ) Blue Boy, Redeem, Shu and Hest. Burnish 60 far has not done anything special on the tracks, but she is one that usually goes much better in a race. However, it may be later on before she is seen at her best. A better idea of her prospects in the Guineas will be obtainable after her race in the "Flying Handicap on Thursday. By the way, the classic event promises to provide a very interesting contest, as the chances of Mother Superior, Burnish, Superior and Pin Money are all well fancied. Pin Money showed a lot of pace in the sprint at Marton, and .stayed on well. He should be improved by that race. Reports from Eordell indicate that Mother Superior is well forward, and likely to show that she is as brilliant as she was last year, in which, case she must be very hard to beat. Superior displayed good form at New Plymouth, and her admirers fancy she will win tlie Plying on Thursday and the Guineas. Midian, who has built up a good deal, ,ie standing up to liis work all right, and he is likely to run a big race in the Durie Hack. He put in long solid work this morning. Shu, the two-year-old full, brother to Hest, has not been' in work long, but showed a lot of pace in his gallop over half a mile this morning with Dawn Princess, a Maiden candidate, who also went particularly well. They ran the first quarter in 24 l-ss, and their 51s for the half was the best of the morning. Shu will not want for friends in the Debutante Stakes. Korokio has been working in improved form lately, and from the way she shaped this morning the Redfern mare should not be long in winning a race. She is engaged in the Seafiekl Handicap. J. Lowe appears to" have got hold of a promising sort in Sunee, who is engaged in the Maiden, and should be liantly at. the finish. On hia Marton form Plateau is one that should be hard to beat in the Marangai Handicap, as he was out in front for the greater part of the way last Wednesday, and should be much benefited by the race. He and Spiral look the pick of the bunch at the moment. The following is the list of entries "for the two-year-old parade:— Prevail, ch f, by Chief Ruler—Yeomanry (Mr. W. McA. Duncan). Night Lass, b f, by Nightmarch—Matata (estate of late W. H. Ballinger). Sergia, b f, by Lord Quex —Sunny Hours (Mr. F. Ormond). ' .! Entail, b c, by Posterity—Episode (Mr. G. M. Currie).
