METHODIST GUILD.
There was a largo attendance at the annual At Homo held by the ladies of tho Dominion Road Methodist Guild last week. The hall was prettily decorated, with arum lilies, while the tables were effectively set out in a two-tone colour scheme of lavender and pink, with flowers to tone. The president, Mrs. A. D. Whitehead, welcomed the guests and presided over an enjoyable programme of pianoforte and vocal solos, and elocutionary items contributed to by Mesdames Do Berg, Armstrong-Kevin, and tho Misses Helen Dykes, Crook, and Silcock. Miss Garland acted as accompanist. PROGRESSIVE LEAGUE. At tlie monthly meeting of the Koliimarama Mission Bay Progressive League, Mrs. G. Grant presided and several new members were welcomed. Mrs. F. C. Webster reported on National Council business. A very interesting talk was given by "Uncle Scrim." Several songs by "Aunt Jean" were very much enjoyed.
