DEATH OF FANNY DAVIES. (Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 2. The death is announced of Fanny Davies, the noted pianiste. She began to play before she was two years old and appeared in Birmingham at a recital when OJ, playjng Beethoven's sonata. Funeral March (without octaves). She has since played in practically every European capital. She was 73 years of age.
