VILLAGE SLUMS.
DOUBLE-SIDED PICTURE. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, September 2. Speaking at Weymouth, Mr. A. Conlev, president of the Trade Union Council, said that many English villages were vile little slums. The country cottage with roses around the door, looking so charming in the sun, was often an unspeakable habitation.
