MARCONI'S LATEST INVENTIONS.
Destruction of microbes in the human body by ultra-short wireless waves lias been rendered possible by a new invention of Senator Marconi. The invention consists in the use of wireless waves to induce in a patient a feverish temperature in which the microbes cannot live. It has not yet been tested on human beings, but it is claimed that if the invention proves successful it will revolutionise medicine. Another invention credited to Senator Marconi is an "electric knife," which enables a surgeon to cut without drawing blood. The krife is connected with a dynamo, the -current from which seals the veins as goon as they are severed. \
