ST. AIDAN'S CHURCH.
SPECIAL "GOLDEN orFERING" A special "golden offering" was taken up at the patronal festival services of St. Aidan's Church, Remuera, yesterday, the aim being to place parish finances '.n -i sound state. It was announced by the vicar, Rev. R. L. Connolly, at the evening service that the donations had totalled £213. : . Holy Communion was celebrated at 8 a.m. "and a choral celebration was held at the morning service, when the preacher was Bishop E. A. Anderson, formn-lv Bishop of Riverina. Special music was rendered. by the choir at evensong, when the preacher was the Rev. H. K. Archdall, the headmaster of King's College.
