COMBINED HUNT CLUBS

TARANAKI PROGRAMME. BAZOB TAKES THE CUP. OEAPAI SCORES IN SPRINT AGAIN. (By Telegraph.—rress Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday. After showers in the morning, the •weather was fine for the conclusion of the combined meeting of the Taranaki and Egmont-Wangamri Hunt Clubs at New Plymouth on Saturday, and there was a good attendance, the totalisator handling £7192 for seven races, compared with. £G430 10/ for eight races at the Taranaki Hunt meeting last year. The investments for the two days totalled £13,176, which was indeed a very satisfactory turnover. The course was in a slightly more, heavy condition than on the first day, and in consequence the times were generally slower. Features of the racing were the surprise wins of Razor and Gold Mission, each returning double figures on the win machine. Razor's success was achieved in the Taranaki Hunt Club Cup, in which he was vridden by the Aucklander, J. H. Mcßae, who was also successful on Ruaaui in the Hack and Hunters' Hurdles.
