YOUNG MAN'S SUICIDE.
FOUND DEAD IN CITY FLAT.
VERDICT AT THE INQUEST.
A verdict of suicide by gas poisoning was returned by Mr. W. R. McKeau, S.M., this morning, at the inquest held touching the death of John Hardman, aged 20, who was found dead in the kitchenette of his flat in Newton Road, yesterday morning.
Evidence was given that Hardman was employed in a shop and that he left his father's home some time ago in order to strike out for himself. He had occupied the flat for the past two months. The coroner said that evidently Hardman was depressed about something. No note or other explanation was left to [account for taking hia own life.
