DAFFODIL DAY.
Preparations have tieen completed by the Victoria League for the holding of Daffodil Day on Friday, when there will be eireet stalls throughout the city area, and a collection will be made by the boy scouts' organisation in the suburbs. The daffodil season is at its height, and the display of flowers will be an extremely colourful one. Associated with the Victoria League will be the Navy League and the Society for the Protection of Women and Children. The funds will be divided between the three organisations, while the boy scouts will share in the proceeds from the suburbs.
