WHO WAS WRONG?
(Sent in by Keith Walker, Raglan.) It was the spelling lesson. The teacher was giving a test. "Spell 'air," said she. John wrote "heir." Bill wrote "ere." Sandy wrote it "Ayr." Richard, fond of poetry, wrote "e'er," and Joseph, who had been reading Charlotte Bronte, wrote "Eyre."
