The outstanding performance of the Northern Walroa Gun Club's final shoot of the season was that of D. P. North, president of the Maraden Gun Club, who won outright the silver cup. Colin Rutledge, aged 13 years, the only junior member of the club, again proved that he ranks with the best local shots. Results: — Seven Birds, Eye-opener.—C. Rutledge (11yds) and J. H. In the shoot-off Appleton won at the twelfth bird. Ten-bird Sweepstake.—D. P. North (21vds) won with the possible, R. Andrews (11yds) and T. Clarke (13y<ls) divided second money. Seven-bird Shoot (Wairoa Stores Cup).— D. P. North (21yds), T. Clarke (13yds), T. Moyle (18yds), and G. Mitchell (11yds) each shot the possible. In the shoot-off North won at the fourteenth bird. Seven-bird Novice Shoot. —I. Appleton (11yds) won with five breaks. Double-rise Shoot.—H.
