SPEED REDUCED BY DIRTY HULL.—The phosphates steamer Lady Charlotte m Calliope Dock yesterday, when she was cleaned and painted before leaving for Ocean Island last night. Owing to the accumulation of shellfish and marine growth picked up y in tropical waters the speed of the vessel had been considerably reduced.
